As is the case with everything in American society we are the victims of the tyranny of the minority. Those with the most power and wealth jerk the strings of most of us.

Such has been the case forever. The corporate owned, sponsored and managed media keeps us in check. We are our own worst enemy, supporting ideologies that are counter to what is right and what is best and what is good.

As a result we have income inequality, wars, pollution, a health care crisis and we owe most of what we own to the few who are attempting to overthrow OUR federal government.

The gun lobby is an example of what is wrong with everything in America today ... the tyranny of the minority. Most NRA members do not support the indiscriminate arming of unqualified individuals.

The same examinations that police candidates are subjected too should apply to anyone wishing to own a pistol. There is no basis for allowing ownership of weapons of mass destruction sold in the form of automatic and semiautomatic guns.

The financing for this anti-democratic nation we now are faced with comes from those we owe all the money too, those who have hoarded tens of trillions offshore, those who almost purchased yet another Presidential election in order to shrink OUR Government and establish a for profit theocracy modeled after Mormonism.

The NRA is yet another GOP supporter ... one of many evil threads that weave the fabric of GOP ideology. Financial and intellectual segregation are alive and well ... and easily implemented under the guise of budget cuts!

Who benefits from paying down debt? Who benefits from the impasse in congress?

The same group of individuals who finance the GOP and hold most of the debt.

They want higher interest rates and they want to own everything!

How do they garner 50% support?
