I am not a scholar on the middle east nor do I know anymore than what I've observed over decades yet I feel I have seen enough to possess the ability to understand the turmoil.
Most will argue that the middle east is a complex equation of humanity grounded in thousands of years of human history.
Perhaps so ... but that has nothing to do with the turmoil.
Human beings react to one thing ... be it in Gaza, Israel or the USA ... NEED.
Those who manipulate humanity seek profit out of turmoil.
The USA is a manipulator alongside all the westernized industrial nations.
The victims exist not only in continents like Africa and South America ... but North America as well.
The difference is in degree.
Those worse off in America are better off than those worse off in India or Brazil or China .... etc
Above humanity a small group decides what is right and wrong.
When Barack Obama became President he soon after introduced a policy of disengagement in the middle east which led to the destabilation of various governments ... Tunisia and Egypt were among the first to go.
Okay ... I'm sure many reading are saying that I am nuts at this point.
However let me ask you one simple question.
Do you think America could have prevented the destabilization of Tunisia and then Egypt?
If you don't then my theory would not apply.
My personal belief is that the decision was made to reshuffle the deck and let the middle east house of cards collapse.
The ensuing changes have been messy for sure .. but the strategy is gradually taking hold and is working.
Middle eastern nations are slowly unifying around the concepts of democracy and fairness and equality ....
Libya was a benchmark of how far the middle east has come in a very short period of time.
Libya was also an opportunity to launch another strategy of OUR President ... diplomacy and restraint combined with using maximum force and coalition to achieve beneficial results.
This strategy of non-intervention while relying on short term events to indirectly trigger actions is meant to achieve long term goals.
We often hear the word policy being discussed on news programs. Too often America is attempting to make policy for other nations in other areas of the world. Instead we should have been shaping policy. There is a subtle but powerful difference, just as there is between war and peace.
However policy and maintenance are often confused by leaders.
For example what should OUR mid-east policy be? Some will answer to protect OUR allies though most will say to protect ourselves.
Oil is an obvious and valuable asset we rely upon that comes out of the middle east.
That is rapidly changing as is OUR middle east policy.
This is not by chance or fortune .. this is by plan.
The middle east is being allowed to re-organize itself ... the American glue has been removed and the USA has become the scientist in the lab looking through a social microscope.
The macro picture that OUR media fails to observe is the massive positive changes occurring almost daily in the world today as a result of this change in policy making.
Other decisions of OUR President have taken hold as well, but in ways much too soon to be detected or noticed.
America is releasing the reins and stepping back in order to redecorate and remodel OUR own nation for the future.
Those who value short term personal gains continue to seek to empower themselves by buying politicians on both sides of the two party system. The republican party has been the unfortunate preferred choice due to it's inherent weakness.
No political party can exist without caring for all the people ..except by virtue of wealth and power.
Neither side wins or loses in elections since democratic and republican voters are mostly the same and the plutocracy remains in control.
The concept of progressive and conservative applies equally to each and every single member of the 98% yet we are split equally by those who would neuter us.
