sore losers
I watched a John McCain Lindsy Graham Kelly Ayote press conference that was a rude undisguised attempt to provoke OUR President and make themselves politically relevent.
There are so many fine points lost to the general public that the media skips over - for fear they'll lose the attention of viewers.
Viewers are to blame in part for the reluctance of the media to focus on the truth ... we Americans don't like to read or see or hear the truth! The truth is boring.
And so we get plots for conspiracy movies instead ...
McCain and Graham should be working in Hollywood and get out of the business of representing Americans. They do a lousy job as Senators.
What brought this all into focus was the President's news conference.
Visibly angered by the anti-Rice rhetoric OUR President threw down the gauntlet on two fronts ... one was the fiscal cliff and the other was Benghazi including his defense of Susan Rice.
Rice is the leading candidate for Secretary of State.
What was enlightening was MSNBC's Chuck Todd's observation that congress, the White House and Congress all had the same information put out by the CIA.
Overall you need to pick up on words ... like consulate vs mission.
McCain at one point referred to a visit he had with Christopher on July 6th where pretty much the same concerns about security were brought up.
So my question is .... what makes it more important now than it should have been back on July 6th?
Where were Graham and McCain for the past 4 months on this issue of inadequate security.
This transparent attempt by McCain/Graham to "watergaterize" Benghazi is just plain ugly.
And some further food for thought is the fact that Cantor knew about the Petraeus investigation over a month ago.
Finally, one other unspoken consideration is that Petraeus is a Republican.
McCain and Graham are political fools doing what politicians do all the time. Nothing of value.
