General David Petraeus extramarital affair makes a lot of people uncomfortable and with good reason.

Imagine if everyone in a lofty position .. think CEO, Bank President, University President were subjected to a standard whereby an extramarital affair was cause for dismissal.

I never for one second understood why OUR nation dragged Bill Clinton's personal underwear out for the public to sniff.

I thought that was ridiculous then and still is today.

Bot we have the likes of these two bozo's in Congress fanning the flames of yet another costly time wasting witch hunt.

When is this crap going to stop? AND perhaps more significantly where does it end?

Mika and "morning' Joe Scarborough seemed uncomfortable on the touchy subject of David Petraeus, with Joe not being his usual effusive bull dog self.

I would guess a large number of those in congress feel uncomfortable with this  - except King and Feinstein.

This matter should be handled privately ... with minimum cost, if at all.

Sin is not something OUR Government should be legislating when we are facing a fiscal crisis and a struggling economic recovery.

This is just more red meat for a media industry that has become the tail wagging the dog across the planet  - in France, the UK and America to name just a few.

It's time to get the tabloids out of Government and OUR personal lives.
