You have already joined 15 Nations. In order to join another Nation, you must leave one.

The limit on Nations being tied by NBC NEWS into a limit on memberships is a violation of freedom of thought ; something the media has mastered over the last few decades.

Does the limit apply to everyone? Apparently not as I've seen a beta member with well over the 15 nation limit imposed on others.

Is this a way for the corporation to muzzle citizen journalists? by throttling member-authors articles?

IT IS limiting the audience for writers ... therefore, limiting memberships in Nations is a violation of Freedom of Speech as well ... 

Perhaps all of this is mute and the number of memberships will not be restricted.

HOWEVER Newsvine has deliberately chosen not to communicate to Newsviners ...  except perhaps for some "insiders" on a one to one basis.

When Newsvine doesn't tell us what is intended or even bother to communicate to members on a normal basis ... you have to ask what are they hiding? This policy of stonewalling is unacceptable.

All it takes are a few sentences and a few minutes to communicate both ways.

I say the limit on memberships is both wrong and a violation of freedom of thought and freedom of speech.

To suggest that an individual's interests be limited to just 15 subjects is preposterous!

To tie in caps on Nation owners with a membership cap raises many questions for which there can be only one answer.

Newsvine citizen journalists are being branded like cattle and access to the community at large is being diverted to what will become a few large Nations owned and controlled by NBC NEWS.
