Democracy Theocracy Technocracy ...
The battle for human minds began with the first humans who evolved from apes; according to science.
And still today that battle continues while science itself is being questioned by those who would have us believe in their Gods.
The contradictions in human society are apparent with the theocratic power of religion deeply emerged in various economic struggles.
Religion has always been an anesthetic for the masses- dulling the pain of social deprivation while providing hope to the disenfranchised masses; when those in charge cannot and more often will not provide hope!
Those who control the many fear democracy and are closely aligned with the concept of religious governance.
Technocrats are atheists who rely on science to define what we should be.
Logic and fact and truth are all defied by the concepts of freedom that we embrace.
Freedom is not the ability to carry a weapon that is used to kill one another ... nor is fighting wars freedom.
Freedom is an excuse for those who wish to control others and in doing so control resources necessary to live.
The idea of capitalism is devoid of democracy and is pure totalitarianism skinned as freedom.
Socialism is a more benign and more scientifically based economic theory based on the theoretical practical limits our planet places on human consumption.
Marx correctly deduced that we humans could not just consume forever and would at some point be forced to cooperate with one another to avoid extinction. Marx's estimate as to how soon that would occur was incorrect. Consumption is just beginning to become a species threatening emergency ... but the changes are at lightening speed within the context of the evolution of the planet.
WE humans may have already doomed the planet and ourselves in the process.
Those with power know this already - since we ordinary humans as a mass do not have access to the super computers capable of extrapolating the future based on the ecological burn rate.
Formulas given the metrics of today have quite easily forecast the demise of humanity ... which is precisely why those in power in America have taken a selfish view of the future of our nation.
Let me restate this in very simple terms.
The planet is dying at a rapid pace .. and most humans will die as a result.
There is nothing those in the drivers seat can do or in many cases want to do!
Radical surgery and radical change is necessary.
The battle is between religion and science.
Technocracy versus democracy and theocracy.
