No.
But it proves you already are!
Then again smoking cigarettes is even more stupid as well as excessive drinking and over-eating etc.
Most of the violent reactions to the premise that smoking pot is not good for you are those very young or those who have been smoking too long - when it is too late to undo the damage.
I first smoked pot 54 years ago. It was a fad that eventually led to other drug addictions. Many of my friends died in door ways and on roof tops from drugs.
Not from pot ... but from the "hard" stuff that pot can often lead you too.
At the time I enjoyed getting high ... I had a much older friend in a masters program studying to be a psychologist - he could get hashish or hash which I believe is a sap like form of pot that was much more potent. WE would get off and talk about deep academic subjects that my usual friends could never imagine ... perhaps my friend was doing a paper and using me as a Guinea pig. No matter.
At some point early on I put 2 and 2 together and when my dead friends totalled four .. I stepped away from drugs. Over time I became a beer drinker - athough I've avoided the complimentary beer belly.

I was always an honors student ..even when I didn't want to be ... since my HS classes were filled with nerds and none of my friends.
I remember one close friend coming into my chemistry class one day to get me out with a forged permission slip ... then proceeding to conduct an experiment that exploded all over the classroom - with the teacher standing open mouth in shock.
He was high on something ... it wasn't pot. Everyone had a good laugh. He was suspended.
His brother who was also a friend died on a roof top not long afterwards.
Getting high is an event and should never become a habit. Addiction sneaks up on you ... be it drugs or alcohol.
You simply can't function at peak capacity when high on anything. Sports, your job, even sex.
Because we each don't fall off a cliff each time we abuse our bodies we can be mislead into thinking that there is no permanent damage.
Habits form and certain habits are hard to break.
I would advise most young pot smokers to stop smoking habitually just as I recommend all cigarette smokers stop altogether.
If nothing else convinces you - consider that pot tamps down sexual arousal and desire.
Get high on life instead. An occasional drink is okay. Even a poke from a bong every few years for good old times.
I became addicted to living and I can assure you being healthy is much more fulfilling and enjoyable than smoking pot!
Now excuse me while I go have an Amstel light! ᕦ(ò‿óˇ)ᕤ
