I have had to distill the groups I registered or was a member of down to 15 and as a result I was forced to give up all my memberships in over 70 groups that I often would publish too ...
I don't like the limit on memberships. I'm currently fighting for no cap on "memberships".
All groups in "classic" are "gated" right now which means the group owner must approve your request to become a member or invite you to accept a membership.
All of my 15 groups will be open in the new newsvine and right now and forever I will acept anyone as a friend, frenemy or member. That's the way I've always been.
These groups have not been developed and I have sent out no more than a handful of invites thus far.
My philosophy when it comes to members and friends is that you are A-Okay until your not okay.
I have several frenemys among my many friends.
I think I have a very interesting set of groups with tremendous potential and within which aspiring authors can flourish and grow.
