This was written a week ago.

The wide eyed deer caught in the headlights look of Paul Ryan amplifies the

fact that he is wet behind the ears and way out of his league.

His own party served him up as toast by letting him present a suicide budget -  and proceeded to burn him when the oven got too hot.

Ryan has seemed to be willing to sacrifice himself politically either naively or as a gesture of party loyalty.

I just think he's plain old stupid. How do you politely tell a nation of aging citizens to die sooner because we need to balance our budget?

What is worst is that most of what we owe can be traced to those who created the debts in the first place.

While Bush and Cheny were conducting expensive wars with no funding  -  their individual BLIND personal stock portfolios weren't suffering.

Just think about that  -how blind can a stock portfolio be that is handed over to persons who would be managing it anyway. Take the blinders off people  - no magic here. Cheney and Bush both profited from the multi-trillion dollar spending spree.

Anyways back to Ryan ...... his next assignment may be to run as VP next to Romney.

Who else would take the inevitable fall?

At least Ryan is no Sarah Palin ... but who would be crazy enough to want Romney to be NO heartbeats away from the Presidency and Ryan to be one step behind him!

To this moment in time I still can't get over the fact that one of the two major political parties in our nation put someone as incapable as Palin on their Presidential ticket.

Addendum:

My personal view is that Romney needed a bridge to his radicalized base. It would kind of be like OUR President picking Ralph Nader as a running mate to get the green vote.
