Education or the lack thereof is the core reason America is declining.
While other nations place much greater emphasis on lowering the costs of education and distributing knowledge, America virtually insures that those who need education the most don't get it or get an inferior product.
Meanwhile many Americans who have what they need and some surplus can afford private schools and college.
Those who have lots of money are given "job stamps" when they graduate from the expensive branded Universities that hand them out.
While it is often said anyone can become President ... what is left out is "if they attend Harvard or Yale" .
Would OUR President have been elected without "job stamps"?
Meanwhile at the other end of the spectrum we have those with either no, little or poor education - many of whom depend on food stamps because of their inability to earn a living to afford basic needs.
Surprisingly a very large number of Americans have fallen into that category since the great recession in 2008.
Thus we have the blame game ... those who are embarrassed and those who are envious. Many need food stamps but will not take advantage.
Rather than place the blame and responsibility where it belongs with corporations - OUR Government takes the brunt of the abuse.
Corporations and those who benefit most from them - have socked away $21 trillion offshore that could be used for education, research new jobs and industries.
America needs free broadband for underprivileged children to take advantage of on-line education opportunities and for their parents to work from home.
