A while ago flipping news channels I once again was reminded of just how trapped our minds are.

I never cease to be disgusted at what goes on in the media everyday and it never stops.

Right now there's a poor family being evicted down the block from many newsvine readers here ... yet we are fixated on one Chinese dissident -  whom was likely set loose by the Chinese Government to distract from the economic discussions in the first place.

And a hack politician who has already been put through the media washing machine a few dozen times.

What the hell is wrong with the MEDIA in this country????? Our jails are full of dissidents. Congress is full of crooks. And half of Americans each think the other half are idiots.

Thousands of OWS protesters have been arrested in America recently, often while being beaten with night sticks and bombarded with tear gas  - and we are worried about one Chinese dissident who probably lives better than 40% of Americans!

The corporate owned, sponsored and managed media is insulting your intelligence and abusing your civil rights by brainwashing all of us with this over reported hog wash!

WE have half our nation struggling today and all the media can talk about is John Edwards and somebody in China who could have been any of thousands of OWS protesters who have been recently abused by the American police state.

What does that say about all of us? We live in a glass house and I'm throwing stones at it!

When are we going to put a stop to the hypocrisy? 

This November. Vote.

Also cut way back on spending money with large Corporations -  either directly or indirectly. WE don't realize it but we're already making progress with gasoline. Keep conserving and do likewise when it comes to any expenditure you make.

We no longer have wall street to steal our hard earned wages. They've already done the job and thrown in our homes for good measure.

Now they simply want to squeeze the last drop of blood from our veins
