Snarky remarks from radicalized americans in the absence of knowledge are purely inflammatory.
Meaningful comments and even opinions right or wrong that are not inflammatory and contribute something of value to article discussions are overshadowed by emotional remarks.
OUR President sticks pins in his opponents soft spots to make a "point" .
You will not find the President saying "start packing" to Diane Sawyer if asked what his message for Romney would be.
It only takes the simple truth to get a predictable reaction from OUR Presidents detractors.
As for example in the case of his comments about the SCOTUS and health care.
We all tend to think like "the group" thinks as if by combining shallow knowledge the level of truth and comprehension is raised ...
Not.
We will argue with one another over the comments of someone more knowledgeable and intelligent than ourselves as if to put ourselves at the same level of ability as OUR President or his detractors for that matter.
This President is first on the list of humans whose words hold significance in 2012.
Nobody is a close second.
OUR President knows that; however many Americans especially his detractors don't stop to think that he knows that.
The battle over contraception was a predictable battle that was inevitable.
But a brilliant general chooses the place and the time of battle. It is not about the initial skirmishes, it is about appealing to the hearts and souls of Americans who have common sense.
Therefore OUR President made no mistakes other than those he wished to make.
You can appear to retreat while actually achieving your objectives.
Unlike us OUR President must measure and weigh and audit every word he speaks.
Bush for example made a "mistake" when he said there were WOMD in Iraq, right?
Wrong. Bush said exactly what he wanted to say about WOMD and Iraq.
How many Americans believe that Iraq was a mistake? None.
Get the point? Bush was a reckless fool but far from stupid. He was a liar.
SO when OUR President throws pebbles into the media pond, he stands back and observes the ripples.
At times he will vary the size and distance of the pebbles he throws. The reflection of the sun and moon and high tide and low tide.
Those pebbles are his words. Each word has a shape, weight and a meaning that creates many ripples. Big and small and many and few - all predictable and dependent on the weight, size, and appearance of the pebble.
When OUR President speaks he selects his words carefully knowing beforehand they will generate ripples and what those ripples will be ....
radicalized right wing opponents throw pebbles of the same predictable size, weight and shape at the same time in the same way in a predictable manner.
That is the keen difference between intelligence and the lack of intelligence. Plans versus reactions.
Understanding outcomes beforehand.
The awareness of what is real and what is not real. And the ability to manage perception by using the truth.
Those who live in glass houses (all of us) should not cast pebbles at the White House.
Politicians on the radicalized right will be surrounded with shards of broken glass in November.
Each fragment of glass representing a lie.
