Warren Buffet is saying that .3% of super wealthy americans like him should pay more taxes and not 99.7% of americans
Warren is a patriot and he is absolutely 100% correct.
More significantly he got me thinking about the disconnect in america today .... and I had a cartharsis I'd like to share.
Raising revenues and spending MORE should be seperated since they acheive two different goals and actually combine at the tail end to acheive the same goals.
Those who can afford it can help pay off OUR debt .... we raise revenues! WE cap our debt growth and wait until taxable income rises.
While at the same time we invest in rebuilding a new america .... we SPEND.
Jobs have flatlined for the past 12 years ..... and we need to spend to create jobs ...... education, vocational retraining, innovation, and infrastructure are all ways to not only revive the economy but revive americans who have fallen victim to a society that has neglected the foundation of our nation ... human beings.
Revenues will grow as jobs grow ...... and what is spent goes right back into the economy and is spent again and again ....
Let's get real folks ..... those with the most wealth are not reinvesting it in america ... yet they obtained their wealth from 99.7% of americans.
Just like nature, public education and research and development have been tabled ... and hoarding and lending money has replaced risk taking and innovation.
As a result jobs have been stagnent for the past 12 years ..... and the middle class is starting to feel what the disadvantaged have felt for the last five decades .... hopelessness.
