Money is the root of all evil - trite but true.

Welfare is bad.

Helping the disadvantaged, deprived, the ignorant, the criminal and the neediest is bad.

It costs too much. They don't deserve or appreciate the help. It's a waste of money.

They should get a job and work like all of us!

All those damned illegal immigrants have all the jobs!

What's that you say - would I like to mow lawns or be a roofer? Work at McDonalds or Burger King? Be a janitor and clean toilets or

stock shelves at the supermarket overnight???

Welfare - it's funny - we don't want to give it to people who need help - people who spend every penny they can get

to stay alive - but we'll give it to the wealthiest Americans to hoard in overseas bank accounts and hide from the IRS.

AND worst of all who lend their money to the needy at obscene interest rates. Of course that is justifiable because the poor have poor credit.

Nowadays more and more Americans are finding they have poor credit. It's just another way for the interest rate to be increased.

Easy money.

As the middle class get poorer their credit rating gets poorer and the rich get richer.

And those with the good credit ... you know the lenders with all the money - they get to borrow at low interest rates and buy up your foreclosed homes.

That's the way it works in a democracy or I'm sorry republic - where the minority and not the majority rules.

It says so right in the constitution - your vote counts for nothing. Nada. Nil. Zilch.

So it is that many who support the GOP feel it's bad to be generous or compassionate or forgiving or tolerant. People have to earn their way. Then someday they will be rich and be able to lend money to those who work for them and make profits at the same time! - and then lay them off so their credit rating goes down and then hire them back for less pay and to work longer hours and then lend them money that they need to survive at high interest rates and then ... and then ...... and then ... and then .....

The GOP will judge and not be judged and the GOP will do unto others what they will not allow be done to them.
