It seems to me that humans are having a catharsis on a global level. OWS represents the unified thinking of billions across the globe who are under the thumb of economic oppression.
Financial slavery can be called anything - capitalism, socialism, communism ... but totalitarianism, authoritarianism, are the underlying ingredients of economic systems - there are just different manifestations of tyranny and plutocracy.
The few manipulate the many.
To unlock the prison humans have been confined to we need the keys of education and unanimity.
OWS is a free form movement that some are trying to bottle and label and brand and get their slimy arms around ... many are in the GOTP.
The fact that millions of humans can spontaneously object to being abused seems to puzzle the abusers. ;-)
They want a list of what OWS wants, an agenda and goals ...... simply protesting isn't enough ..... some just can't figure out that OWS represents the 99% and we don't need an agenda or a website or a committee to be angry!

there comes a day
when the old road ends
after many a long year
travelin' so many bends
the bumps and bruises a story tell
there's so much to say n' much to hear
so listen closely while I spout
and upon my words do closely dwell
for your time is gone before it comes
tis invisible yet it casts many a spell
for in the blink of an eye you were one day
yet in another you will be no more
tis the end of a journey that never began
like the morning mist you'll just drift away
Thank you very much for the Friend invitation, Coral Atlas. I am truly honored to be counted among your Friends.

many are asking what is OWS?
many more are saying that it's about time;
and those on the right say they OWS is obsessed;
yet when they protested they thought it was fine;
they ask what's the reason? what's caused this distress?
Routine obstruction 100% of the time!

"little one" n' "big one" lived all alone
in the woods nearby not far from our home
mostly maine coons each was special n' sweet
together abandoned left to wander n' roam
morning n' night they would stop by to eat
until one day "little one" came all alone
now she's safely inside n' her life is complete
tis been a while since last I wrote
n' so I thought I'd drop a line
a short lil' poem n' not a note
I like it when my last word rhymes.
upon my words you need not dote
since more will follow in good time;-)

September eleventh, two thousand eleven
September forever arrives with gifts she is bringing,
the birth days, the death days, an end, a beginning,
memories, mom's call, her birthday wishes still lasting
each day since she left me a dawn, and birds singing
waning summers encroaching upon falls as memories passing
a birthday reminder, her calls, the phone no longer ringing
yet skys are still blue and bathers still sunning
buildings standing majestically tall with beauty so stunning,
as we hastily honor September, as well as time's passing,
both the bad and the good, and the memories lasting
yet forward we look as the past is now over
for tomorrows today and September's October9/11/2011

Mom's a part of me each day
the sound of her voice I miss
I now can hear what oft she'd say
"I love you" then a gentle kiss
and she will ne'er go away
tho memories at times can wander
and thoughts at times will go astray
beyond the wild blue yonder
yet mom's here with me to stay
sharing memories we each can ponder

Today was a lost day
consumed in endless thought
that since have drifted far away
tho questions they have brought
upon my couch I quietly lay
and answers strive to seek
yet none so far to my dismay
I'll be at it all this week!
Coral…Thanks for your comments on JohnRussel's article today (9-4-11). This Viner consistently puts out "veiled" yet clearly racially inflammatory (race baiting) articles, & uses (although subliminal) dog whistle type, "straw man" tactics to keep some rather ugly discussion on the board for hours & sometimes days.
Your comments there (as well as your recent articles) are appreciated.

Christian Sunday is for prayers
tho for most tis just another day
if words to Christian deeds compared
twill be revealed for whom they pray
T'is not for those lives in despair
those many oppressed who dare not speak
many Christians rarely practice what they preach
most often words sowing even more despair
for lies, anger and hate are all they'll teach
and the needy many silently listen and weeptrue Christians don't pray about caring
instead they seek to correct what is wrong
